Water Under the Bridge
“Welcome to Aelyosos, the City of Tides. When it comes to grand cities you’ll find nowhere else like this one. With ice blue oceans, friendly merfolk with their own passageways, fragrant hanging gardens, and God-Heros ruling the archipelago, you’ll find nowhere as peaceful as this.
That’s why it’s perfect.”
That’s how Mr. Katherus Arc presented the city to you and perhaps how he convinced you and your party to get on this shoddy boat and sail there. Perhaps it was something else. Whatever it may be he sent you off with two requests: find out any secret you can and establish a thieves guild of your own. How you do it is up to you.
Will you and your party start from the inside out, slowly turning the guards away from your suspicious behaviour or will you be bolder and rob any merchant or pirate docked at the city until they pledge fealty to your start up? Or, perhaps one of your party members isn’t what they seem, there’s no shortage of spies in this world after all. Whatever choice you pick, whatever path you carve, it won’t be easy but there’s a profit to be made and no bard sings about the Goloma who only sat on their hands.
In Water Under the Bridge, you and your party are tasked with crafting your very own thieves guild on behalf of Katherus Arc, a mysterious benefactor who only wants the city's secrets in return. But be careful, as your guild gains more notoriety and uncovers more secrets, it’ll be harder and harder to avoid the law or even the attention of the gods. This is a Pathfinder 2e game with plenty of room for the newbie or resident veteran player!
